
Ian Charles Bouras is a guitarist from New York City. As a session guitarist for many groups he seamlessly flows from one style to another. The debut AñaVañA record showcases his songwriting, guitar playing and producing.
He studied music at The American Institute Of Guitar, and in The New School Jazz Program, and currently teaches privately in addition to his live and studio work.
He has toured the world with AñaVañA and as a backing band member for many of music's great groups.
For the past few years Ian has been the guitar player and production manager for the hit making disco group Musique, who throughout their career have sold over 25 million records, and are famous for songs such as, "Push, Push In The Bush" and "Keep On Jumpin".
With Musique Ian has had the oppurtunity to open for The Temptations and Crystal Waters, as well as, headline many Musique performances for thousands of people, giving Ian the chance to gain exsposure for his group AñaVañA and to be recognized as one of the few people who dispells the myth, "Jack of all trades, Master of none"
Since the release of AñaVañA's debut record on Zip Records the band has been become increasingly busy gigging in and around NYC, and is gearing up for their East Coast Tour in the winter of 2004.
